The Mississippi Department of Education visited Senatobia Elementary on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, to recognize Senatobia Elementary School being named a Science of Reading School. Only seven schools in the state of Mississippi have this distinction! A parade was held throughout the school. The SHS band and cheerleaders marched through the halls to kickoff the celebration. Pictured are the representatives from the Mississippi Department of Education.
