The primary purpose of  Curriculum Director is to assist personnel in improving student achievement through understanding the alignment of the Mississippi curriculum, assessments, and instruction. With effective professional development and data-driven decisions, personnel are instructed on best educational practices in education and research based instructional strategies that have been proven to increase student achievement.

FOR PARENTS

The Mississippi Department of Education developed family guides to assist with grade-level at home strategies and activities that support both student and parent understanding of the English language arts and mathematics standards. Parents can use the activity booklets at home to support what their children are learning in the classroom.
